Muskegon Adventure Park is hosting an Adaptive Sports & Accessibility Open House on Tuesday, June 9th from 1pm to 7pm (drop in any time)

Location: Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park
Address: 462 Scenic Drive, Muskegon, MI 49445 (located inside Muskegon State Park)
When: Tuesday, June 9th from 1pm to 7pm (drop in any time)
Activities: Zip line, wheel luge, rock climbing, archery, hiking and yard games. (all activities provided with assistance and adaptive equipment)
Cost: This is a FREE event. No pass purchase is required.

Volunteers Needed for the 2026 Miller Family Open!

The 3rd Annual Miller Family Open track and field meet, sponsored by Guardian and hosted by U-M Adaptive Sports & Fitness, is scheduled for June 26-27th and will take place at the UM Track & Field facilities in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We are so excited for this meet and expect it to be bigger and better than last year!

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt, snacks, drinks, and meals during their shift(s). Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

1:28PM: 100m open: Conner Pierce, Heidi Kramer, Alyssa Vallier, Wyatt Serrato

We are 1 week away from integrating with the University of Michigan Michigan Men's Track and Field on May 8th at the varsity track. Come out and cheer on our adaptive athletes!

Importantly this will serve as the qualifying race for the NCAA National Championships for wheelchair track in June.

Competitors and events:

100m Wheelchair qualifying Race: Maria Velat, Luke Bowman, Jonothan Osborne

100m open: Conner Pierce, Heidi Kramer, Alyssa Vallier, Wyatt Serrato

Shot Put: Michael Beydoun, Margaret Beaudoin

Long Jump: Wyatt Serrato

The 100m nationals qualifying race will be held right before the 100m open heats. Everyone else will integrate into the able body heats. The schedule is attached below.

Hello University of Michigan Adaptive Sports & Fitness Community!

You are invited to join Disability Network Washtenaw Monroe Livingston and University of Michigan Adaptive Sports and Fitness for National Adaptive Sports Day! Stop by and try out various adaptive sports, check out our adaptive fitness center, and meet some of our community partners!

WHEN: Tuesday, April 28th 4-6pm
WHERE: Disability Network Washtenaw Monroe Livingston, 3941 Research Park Drive, Ann Arbor
WHO: All ages and abilities are welcome! No experience necessary.
PARKING: Parking will be available at the Disability Network on the North side of the building and additional street parking will be available on Research Drive.

4:00 - 4:30: Wheelchair Ultimate Frisbee
4:30 - 5:00: Hand Cycling & Adaptive Fitness Activities
5:00 - 5:30: Wheelchair Skills & Games
5:30 - 6:00: Hand Cycling & Adaptive Fitness Activities
