Spring term is a busy time for the English Language Development (ELD) Program! This May, undergraduate teaching interns participated in our ELD Abroad program in Cuernavaca, Mexico, where they immersed themselves in language, culture, and learning. Students explored the rich history and beauty of Mexico 🇲🇽, stayed with host families, learned in an outdoor classroom, collaborated with Mexican students, and strengthened their Spanish language skills. Throughout the program, students deepened their understanding of multilingualism and learned effective ways to support multilingual learners in their future classrooms while building meaningful cross-cultural connections.

A special thank you to our incredible partners at Azteca Total Immersion Center for making this transformative experience possible. ❤️
