TUWA Temple continued its efforts to alleviate food insecurity by volunteering at the Anne Arundel County Food Bank (AACFB) on May 08 2026. TUWA Temple volunteered for the 2025/2026 academic year to provide tutoring for the Annapolis Start the Adventure in Reading (STAIR) Program. STAIR-Annapolis is an educator-approved tutoring program that provides one-on-one support to Anne Arundel County Public School first and second graders striving to achieve grade-level reading. Illustrious Potentate White provided weekly one-on-one tutoring to a young man to help him work towards reading at his proper grade level.

We were honored to be invited to the STAIR 20th Anniversary Celebration and Appreciation Dinner for volunteers on Wednesday evening April 29th and participate in the 2025/2026 student graduation ceremony on May 1st.

TUWA Temple looks forward to continue helping the STAIR Program make an impact in the 2026/2027 school year.

Saturday April 4th was truly a festive day for TUWA Temple No. 228 and TUWA Court No. 210. We provided the Annapolis Community with an exciting day of fun, laughter, and connection at the Stanton Community Center.

You know TUWA loves the kids and they surely enjoyed the music, face painting, jumping on the moon bounces, playing games, receiving school supplies and clothing, and of course you know those chef-level TUWA Nobles prepared delicious food for all!

TUWA Temple also initiated our aggressive voter registration campaign to assist the Maryland State Board of elections in registering eligible folks in the Annapolis Community to vote.

With important governor, attorney general, comptroller, U.S. House of Representatives, County Executive, County State's Attorney, and County Sheriff races occurring throughout the State of Maryland Voting, we want members of our Annapolis community to exercise their right to vote.
