SYWoC 2012 Team U.S.A. - U.S. Naval Academy Team America, on a quest for glory in La Rochelle The U.S.

Naval Academy's Offshore Sailing Team will be sending seven team members to La Rochelle, France representing the United States to sail in the Student Yachting World Cup from October 27th to November 3rd. 13 nations will be competing for the title of WORLD CHAMPION and the USA plans on being right in the mix.

Almost a week later and looking back, Team USA loved everything about SYWoC 2012. Thanks to the race organizers and other teams for making it a truly awesome experience. Whenever anyone finds themselves in the U.S. of A., any of our doors are open to you. Obama and company wish we were back in La Rochelle with all of you instead of having our noses in the books.

Tomorrow's a new day. After a solid day one for Team USA, we hit a rough patch on day two. Looking to turn it around tomorrow. Prelim results have us in 6th overall right now, pending protests.
