Ouachita Baptist University Art Club The OBU Art Club is community of Ouachita students that share a unique passion for the visual arts.

The club meets once a week in order to build community, discuss volunteer projects, share ideas, and offer constructive critique.

Send in your entries to the Student Juried Show! The deadline is Wednesday, December 3rd. Email a photograph of your submission to [email protected]! The work does not have to be wall-ready until after you are accepted to the show. Turn in your $5 per entry to any art club member or to the art department. Find out by the end of finals week if your work was accepted and be part of a fantastic show! Cash prizes are available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Art Club Award, and a special Faculty Award!

Today, we crashed the OBU Foster Grandparents meeting and had them help with the clay mural we are doing! The completed mural will be a vibrantly colored tile tree to brighten up their space. Foster Grandparents "made their mark" by imprinting their fingerprints as texture in the clay. We had so much fun laughing, talking, and making tiles!
