Congratulations to MSN Family Nurse Practitioner student Conrad Wilson who was selected by his peers to serve as their student representative.
My name is Conrad Wilson, and I am deeply honored to serve as our MSN-FNP class representative this semester.
First and foremost, my life and choices must revolve around my faith in Jesus Christ and his saving grace. My path to advanced practice nursing is built upon a foundation of critical care, compassion, and an unshakeable conviction in the power of human connection. Before starting this journey, I spent 10 years working in high-acuity hospital settings—including the cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, special procedures, ICU, and PACU—managing conscious sedation and invasive monitoring. In the past five years, I gained valuable experience in healthcare administration, case management, and hospice care. My life changed forever. I learned that while medicine is a vital tool, people need people for healing and for life. Right now, my heart lies in geriatrics and walking faithfully alongside those healing from mental and emotional trauma.
While my professional calling is in nursing, the absolute best job and career I have or will ever have is being a husband to my beautiful wife and a father to our two wonderful children.
As the class representative, I am dedicated to nurturing a supportive, connected community where we look out for one another through every challenge the program brings. Outside of academics, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors or working with my hands to create things. I look forward to walking this path together as we step into our roles as future Family Nurse Practitioners!
