𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝! 👣🚶
Make plans to join us for Downtown Doc Walks, our free monthly community walking program. On March 5, we’ll meet at the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce to hear from William Newton Hospital Pharmacist Kelle Thompson, RPh.
In honor of National Poison Prevention Week (coming up the 3rd week of March), Kelle will discuss medication safety for both adults and children, as well as lead poisoning prevention. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a one-mile walk and a refreshing healthy snack provided by Oasis Coffee Shop! ☕🍎

What a fantastic first day trip to kick off the semester! We tried out a new idea this go around: a local lunch and learn. For this first day trip, Golden Tigers toured the Cowley County Cotton Gin and had lunch at Ark City Pizza Ranch. Everyone walked away with a full belly and a full brain. There was so much to learn! Thank you to everyone who joined us, and thank you to our wonderful local stops for hosting us!

Last week, Golden Tigers went on the first day trip of the semester, and it left us all a little speechless. Theatre Salina is the first community theater in the state to put on “Come From Away,” and they quickly proved why they were worthy! We were all blown away by the show and caliber of this little community theater.
Our next day trip is scheduled for October 8th, and it still has a few seats open if you or someone you know might be up for an adventure! Give us a call at 620-441-5225 to snag a spot.

Fall enrollment is here! September is right around the corner, and with it, the start of our fall semester of Golden Tigers activities. There is still plenty of time to get signed up and enrolled though. We have openings on both Day Trip #1 and Day Trip #2 still, along with lots of fun classes and activities.
