We also bring the area's leading professionals into the classroom as guest instructors. You can draw upon their day-to-day working knowledge to prepare you for the future -- your future. All UTA communication graduates earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a specialization in one of the areas listed at the left. Congratulations to Jason Holly, awarded the Bonner McLane Scholarship by the Texas Association of Broadcasters and Texas Broadcast Education Foundation, worth $4500. Holly is the first Maverick awarded the Bonner McLane Scholarship, and the first recipient of a TBEF Scholarship since ’21-’22 (Brenda Saldana).
Holly will receive his award at the Texas Association of Broadcasters Convention, August 8, in Round Rock, Texas.
