Anne Arundel Community College Concert Band This is the official page of the Anne Arundel Community College Concert Band. Members represent all areas of study at AACC. Band members meet at 7 p.m. Mondays.

The Anne Arundel Community College Concert Band is a 75-member ensemble drawn from the AACC student body and staff as well as the community. Community members come from not only greater Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, but also the District of Columbia and Baltimore metro areas. Community members represent many professions and levels of experience, including the medical professions, college prof

essors, business owners, retired and active-duty military musicians, and music educators. No audition is required for the AACC Concert Band. Musicians interested in joining are encouraged to contact Director Paul Dembowski at [email protected]

Come play with the AACC Concert Band this Spring!

The AACC Concert Band is a 75-member ensemble of musicians with a common love of playing great band music. The members include current AACC and AACPS students, AACC and AACPS faculty members, and accomplished community musicians.

AACPS students can receive significant discounts on tuition when working through their school counseling office.

No audition is required, only a willingness to work hard on some challenging and rewarding music.

We have a great program this Spring that includes the following:

Starry Night - Michael Kallstrom
Ye Banks and Braes O' Bonnie Doon - Percy Grainger
Satiric Dances - Norman Dello Joio
Castles in Europe - James Reese Europe
The Sinfonians - Clifton Williams
Urban Light - James David

January 26: class begins
Rehearsals are on Mondays at 7:00pm
Concert: Sunday, May 10 2:00pm

A Mother of a Revolution - Omar Thomas
