Free Continuing Education for AARC Members!

AARC Members can now earn up to 12 CRCE each year for free! Every month, Respiratory Care offers a 1.0 CRCE educational course associated with that month’s issue.

The goal of CRCE through the Journal is to facilitate the respiratory therapist’s understanding of the study’s research question, design, main results, and the implications on patient care. After you register for the course, simply read the first five articles in Respiratory Care and take the course post-test.

Progress towards a license compact for Respiratory Therapy! 🎉 This would allow an RRT to have 1 license and be able to work in multiple states!

📣 The Respiratory Care Interstate Compact (RCIC) is official with the passage of the 7th and 8th states today!

AARC, in collaboration with the Council of State Governments (CSG) and the Department of Defense (DoD), is proud to announce the formal launch of the RCIC, which now establishes the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact Commission. This initiative marks a new era for the respiratory therapy profession, streamlining licensure across state lines to improve patient care and address critical healthcare staffing shortages.
