From the classroom to a career in real estate!

Neumann Class of 2025 graduate Joe Troilo became a licensed real estate agent as he began his senior year. Since then, he has closed a dozen sales and found a career that allows him to build relationships, work directly with clients, and run his own business.

Two real estate courses taught by Dr. Jeff Graber helped Joe discover this career path and take the first steps toward his goals.

Ariana Gilmore just might be the queen of Criminal Justice internships! The senior already has experience with four law enforcement agencies and is pursuing a fifth internship for summer 2027 with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) as she works toward her goal of becoming a federal agent.

“In an internship, you witness how classroom theory is actually applied,” says Gilmore. “If you learn something and then do it, it’s going to stick.”

As we mark the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, we remember his legacy of humble service to those on the margins, a legacy that continues to guide our mission here at Neumann University today.

Red October starts today! ⚾️🔴 And before the Phillies take the field, we’re celebrating four Neumann stars who already had a front-row seat to baseball’s biggest summer stage.

Makiyah Blackwood, Jessica Miller, Alura Troilo, and Faith Weaver all played a role during MLB’s Midsummer Classic, gaining hands-on experience and helping bring All-Star Week to life.

From working on the Phillies’ marketing and promotions team and managing attractions at All-Star Village to supporting fans inside Citizens Bank Park and serving as a Phillies Ballgirl, each student had a unique experience behind the scenes of one of baseball’s biggest events.
