The MAcc Student Association (MAccSA) provided MAcc students with coffee and refreshments this week, helping them recharge in the middle of a busy semester. MAccSA gives students a chance to engage with each other, take part in social and community events, and develop the culture of the MAcc program. Best of luck to all our MAcc students as the calendar turns to October soon!

The Tull Alumni Boards play a valuable role in providing direction and planning to the department. They offer on-the-ground insight to Tull leadership so that students can be best prepared for successful careers. The Tull Alumni Board and Young Alumni Board recently convened and connected with Tull leaders, discussed strategic direction, and caught up with faculty. Their service makes a tremendous difference in the way our faculty guide and prepare students.

Temperatures are cooling, September 15 deadlines have come and gone, and fall festivities are in full swing. Happy first day of Autumn, Tull Dawgs! We normally don’t like orange, but who else can’t wait for the trees to look like this again?

The 2026 Tull Golf Tournament provided dozens of students the opportunity to connect with firms, all while working on their drives and putts. The scores were below par, but the experience and connections were well above par. A huge thanks to everyone who participated and made this year’s tournament memorable!

The Tull alumni network maintains strong connections post-graduation! Recent alumnus Nicholas Hawkins (BBA ‘24, MAcc ‘25), now an Assurance Associate at Moore Colson, helped represent the firm alongside senior recruiter Savannah Irwin at Terry’s Employer of the Day. Tull alumni are extending their influence throughout the industry, and connecting with alumni remains a valuable part of the Tull experience.

Backpacks being stuffed can only mean one thing - MAcc orientation is right around the corner! We can’t wait to welcome almost 200 incoming MAcc students and give them their all-important MAccpacks in just a few days.
