Marking the movement towards greater arts education 🎨

In April, the OHIO community gathered outside of Glidden Hall to celebrate the progress of the Violet L. Patton Center for Arts Education, an all-new hub for interdisciplinary arts set to open Fall 2027.

Event attendees were invited to sign one of the center’s structural steel beams, a lasting symbol of the shared vision and community behind the center.

“The arts bring people together, and this space reflects our investment in learning, discovery and engagement. Signing this beam is especially meaningful because it represents not only the future of this building, but the aspirations and creativity of our students for generations to come.”
