The reading is hosted by UGA Office of Sustainability , UGA English Department , and the Sustainability Certificate and will be held at Odum School of Ecology Auditorium, Aug. 26th at 4:30pm.

English PhD Candidate Mounawar Abbouchi spoke with Franklin News' Joy Pope about "how medieval authors reinterpreted women from classical antiquity, transforming figures such as Dido, Medea, Philomela, and Procne into moral examples for medieval readers. Her dissertation asks what those adaptations reveal about the cultures that produced them."
