Ohio University Clinical & Translational Research Unit

Ohio University Clinical & Translational Research Unit The Clinical & Translational Research Unit (CTRU) is part of Ohio University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The CTRU helps with all stages of research, while offering a way for people like you to get involved! We are the result of a significant evolution and expansion of the former Clinical Research Unit (CRU) housed in the diabetes center. In 2014, the Clinical & Translational Research Unit (CTRU) underwent strategic growth in personnel and resources as the unit completed a physical transition to Irvin

e Hall and consolidated within the Office of Research and Grants. Our team has multiple years of experience in human subjects research. Many are affiliated with professional clinical research organizations and hold research‐specific credentials. We are taking the college’s research program to the next level, and paralleling other institutions that have high-profile clinical research programs. Click on the Notes tab to find directions to us.
