Last night, University Judiciary held the annual Alumni Panel. The event gave current members the opportunity to meet past members of Judiciary and hear about their experiences with the organization. The students were able to hear from alumni involved with careers from law to science education. A few of the alumni work here at the University of Georgia and we even had some fly in all the way from Utah!

We are so proud of our alumni and so grateful for their continued support. Go Dawgs!

A few weeks ago, University Judiciary held a percentage night at the local Chipotle in order to fund raise for their Legacy Endowment Fund. At their last General Body Meeting, the Executive Council chose to announce the funds raised UGA Miracle style! To get a good laugh, they first only showed that $015.98 had been raised....only to reveal that they had been able to raise $1,015.98!!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support University Judiciary!!

This past weekend, University Judiciary's current and provisional members went on a retreat in the woods. The retreat was filled with education, bonding, fun, laughter, tears, teamwork, friendship, community, and hard work. It was wonderful and exhausting and we are so proud of everything that each member did to contribute to this weekend. We look forward to the year ahead!

Today's #FeatureFriday, and our last one for our Council members, goes to our Executive Director Bryant Anthony. Bryant is a fourth year Risk Management and Spanish major from Johns Creek, Georgia. Bryant loves to watch Law & Order SVU and is Beyoncé obsessed. His favorite thing about Judiciary is the Annual Retreat and getting to see everyone at General Body Meetings. Bryant was able to spend his 2015 summer studying on the sunny shores of Costa Rica and has had some of his photographs on exhibit in a gallery at the Washington D.C. National Building Museum.

The best advice he ever received is: "Breathe. You don't have to figure it out all at once."

Today's #FeatureFriday is our Director of Operations, Mike Thompson! Mike is a third year Economics major with a minor in Philosophy and a Certificate in Legal Studies from Chattanooga, Tennessee! One of his favorite things about UGA is that there are so many opportunities to learn outside of the classroom. Mike does this by participating in the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Spikeball Club, Economics Society, and local activities such as Escape the Space. Mike has visited over 20 countries and advises first years to apply to anything that interests them.

Before he graduates, he would like to cross off a visit to the Athens Iron Horse from his Athens bucket list!

Today's #FeatureFriday is Jack Owen, our Director of Case Administration for Justices! He is a fourth year Biology and Ecology major from Augusta, GA. He loves to play golf, run, and stay up to date on college football. When he's not with Judiciary or working hard on school work, he can be found with his fraternity, doing research at the School of Ecology, or mentoring with Athens-Clarke County. A memory at UGA that makes him laugh is thinking back to the snowstorm of 2014 when he participated in a snowball fight on Brumby Hill.

His favorite quote is "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence".
