Ohio University BEEP Lab

Ohio University BEEP Lab The Biopsychosocial Examination of Eating Patterns (BEEP) Lab is directed by Dr. Sarah Racine in the Psychology Department at Ohio University.

Our work examines how biological, psychological, and sociocultural risk factors intersect to influence normal and abnormal eating and exercise patterns. We are particularly interested in studying personality and emotional correlates of eating behaviors at these multiple levels of analysis.

Well Facebook likers... it appears to be time to say goodbye. As many of you may know, the Ohio University BEEP Lab will unfortunately be discontinued after this academic year comes to a close. Dr. Racine, the advisor for the BEEP Lab, has accepted a wonderful opportunity to continue her research at her Alma Mater in Canada! I think I speak for everyone in the BEEP Lab when I say that we are incredibly proud of her, and can't wait to see all that she accomplishes in the future!

Thank you to EVERYONE who has made this incredible experience possible. From undergraduate research assistants, to graduate students, to Dr. Racine herself, this academic year has been comprised of wonderful learning opportunities and memories.

I'm looking forward to see how every member of the BEEP Lab continues to grow and advance in their future psychology endeavors. Thank you ALL for the hard work and good times :)
