This year's Outstanding Senior Award in Poultry Science goes to Kylie Bruce! Kylie is a Poultry Science major from Lavonia, Georgia. She says, "My favorite memories from within the department have been made while hanging out with folks outside of class time. Friends have become family because we have such small classes that allow for relationships to develop so easily!" Kylie says she hopes to work in agriculture my whole career. She says, "I have grown up in it and it is where my true passion lies. Though I love production - especially hatchery work - I also love the people side of the industry. It has always been a dream of mine to work for a company such as US Poultry and Egg." Last summer, Kylie interned with Cobb-Vantress in the Primary Breeder Hatchery in Cleveland. This coming summer, she plans to work with Dr. Jordan in the lab at the Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center. Congratulations Kylie!
