Student pharmacist Spencer Scheu represented the UGA College of Pharmacy at the inaugural National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Emerging Leaders Academy, held during the 2026 NACDS Total Store Expo in Boston. Spencer was one of 49 dean-nominated students selected nationwide for the new program.

His career has taken him from community pharmacy to the Georgia Drugs and Narcotics Agency and, ultimately, to the classroom, where he now helps prepare the next generation of pharmacists.
