The UGA College of Pharmacy is seeking a Director of Assessment to join our team and support the continued excellence of our Doctor of Pharmacy program. This position will lead assessment, evaluation and continuous improvement efforts, using educational data to support student success, curriculum effectiveness and accreditation requirements while collaborating with faculty and college leadership.

Today is Breast Cancer Awareness Day. 💗

Earlier this month, student organizations SOAP, GSHP and APhA hosted their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Panel in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Panelists Dr. Michelle McElhannon, Dr. Vivia Hill-Silcott, Mickey Yongue and Dawn Chandler, with Dr. Grace Gowda joining virtually, shared their experiences with breast cancer and emphasized the importance of regular screenings and proactive health care.

The event also recognized Louise Huff, head custodian at the UGA College of Pharmacy and a two-time cancer survivor, as she begins chemotherapy. We’re thinking of Ms. Louise and wishing her all the best!
