Monday with Kaleigh Anderson our Vice President of Intellectual Development!!!

Kaleigh is from Roswell, Georgia and is majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Applied Biotechnology!

“I wanted to run for VP of Intellectual Development since school has always been a top priority in each aspect of my life. Coming to college, where I no longer had my parents to keep me on top of everything was a huge adjustment because I became the only person who could make sure I wasn’t procrastinating my studies. While this was a struggle at first, I found relationships at AXO that helped to lighten the stress of school. I remember one time freshman year, my later roommate, Lily Nix and I were studying for our biology exam together. We had become so delirious that she thought there were 100 seconds in a minute, and for a hot second we didn’t understand why that sounded wrong. It was moments like these when the stress of school was overshadowed by laughter and friendship and I hoped to show other girls in the chapter that same experience. While school is one of the things we’re all at college for, I wanted to give the girls in the chapter someone they could find comfort in when school gets hard and someone to laugh with when the work gets too serious.”

“My favorite AXO memory was living in the house my sophomore year. I had the chance to live with three of my best friends and it was such an amazing experience because I made so many new friendships with everyone else that lived in the house. Whenever I wanted to go grab a Polar Pop or have a chill movie night in, there was always someone that would join me and it was so nice to always know someone would be down for anything!”

You are the absolute best Kaleigh! We 💗 you!

HAPPY MONDAY!!! Today we are featuring our VP of Ritual and Fraternity Appreciation, Georgia Tibaldi!

Georgia is from Marietta, Georgia and is a Human Development and Family Sciences major with certificates in Child Life and in Disabilities, on the pre-OT Route.

“I love tradition. Every sorority, on paper is similar in that we all have date nights and events to raise money but it’s the roots and history behind each chapter that makes us different. Learning about our history allows us to grow more deeply as people and as a chapter. I love our alumni and getting to work with them has been a joy!!”

“My favorite Alpha Chi memory was big little my sophomore year. Being able to be mentored by my big, Kari, has been the biggest blessing of college and having the opportunity to grow in relationship with Sydney, my little has been such a joy. My sorority fam has been there for me through the best and worst times of college and are my true friends!”

We could not love you more, Georgia!!!!

Today’s Monday spotlights Claire Fleming, our wonderful Panhellenic Delegate!

Claire is from Savannah, Georgia, and is an Animal Bioscience major on the Pre-Vet track!

“The Panhellenic Community has truly been the backbone of my college experience! Ever since being a part of Junior Panhellenic Council during fall of my freshman year, I knew this was the role I wanted to fulfill! Serving as Panhellenic Delegate, I have built so many friendships with women in other chapters. I am inspired by the Panhellenic community every day. Panhellenic Council is so precious to me. What an honor it is to represent Alpha Chi and be a part of such a special community!”

“My favorite Alpha Chi memory was running back home on bid day this year after returning from being a Gamma Chi! Being welcomed back with hugs, tears, and laughter reminded me of why I chose AXO to begin with. I will hold those sweet moments with friends so close to my heart forever!”

Claire, you not only represent what it means to be an Alpha Chi, but also what it means to be a Panhellenic woman and we could not be more grateful to call you our own!

HAPPY MONDAY with our Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing, Charlotte Witherspoon!!

Charlotte is from Tampa, Florida and is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Fashion Merchandising!

“I ran for VP of PR and Marketing because I wanted to showcase the love, joy, and sincerity within this chapter in a way that others could truly see and feel. I have always had a passion for social media, content creation, photography, and editing, so this position felt like the perfect opportunity to combine my creativity with my love for this chapter. To me, PR is so much more than just posting pictures. It’s about capturing the little moments during our philanthropy and recruitment events, friendships, and memories in and out of the house that make Alpha Chi so special! I wanted our social media to actually feel like us and show the genuine love and joy that I get to see within this chapter every day!!!!”

“My favorite Alpha Chi memory is definitely living in the house and meeting my best friend, Ireland! Living together gave me some of my favorite memories, from debriefing our days in each other’s rooms, going on drives listening to One Direction after doing work in the study, and having dance parties in the Georgia Room, to bringing Ireland home to the lake with my family for Easter and taking trips to Tampa with other Alpha Chis. To any freshmen or sophomores stressing about finding their people or their “home away from home,” give it time because you will find it. I came into college hoping to find friendships and make memories that carried the same abundance of love I’ve always felt at home, and my experience in Alpha Chi has exceeded those hopes 10,000%. Looking back, it wasn’t one big event that made AXO so special to me, it was the people, finding my best friend, the everyday moments, and finding a home in each other.”
