George Hofstetter is a rising Sophomore but has already been making impacts on Menlo’s campus and in his local communities.
George is the current President of Menlo’s first-ever Social Justice Club, Vice President of Black Leaders on Campus (BLOC), a member of the Oaks Innovation Club, and a founding member of Menlo’s very first Tedx Menlo College: This Is America.
At age 16 George founded his tech company, George Hofstetter Technologies Inc. in which he intends to help create opportunities for children of color to enter the tech industry, converting them from “consumers to innovators.” His latest project is UpToCode, a free online curriculum that helps minority students from middle to high school expand their knowledge in entrepreneurship and innovation.
We are very excited to see what innovations George comes up with next and Menlo is very excited to support him on his journey of igniting his potential.
For more information, about George's company and future projects, visit his website George Hofstetter Technologies Inc. : https://www.georgehofstettertechnologies.com/
