The Black Student Union is a club at Menlo College in Atherton, CA. The BSU was created to unite the African American community and educate the campus.

The Black Student Union is a club on the Menlo College campus in Atherton, CA. The Black Student Union was created not only re-unite the African American community and the students of Menlo, but also to educate the campus on African American history and culture. Our goal is to inform students and encourage everyone to participate in the BSU, regardless of ethnicity or background. We highly encourage EVERYONE to join, celebrate, discuss, and participate in events, discussions, and outings held by the BSU!

Operating as usual

We will have our first official meeting October 13th. Details about time and place will be announced closer to the date. For our first meeting, we will be voting on a design for our official BSU 2016-2017 tee shirts. We will be accepting design concepts until October 13th, before our meeting. The theme this year is: Black Lives Matter. Email designs to [email protected] or message them to us on Facebook! We can't wait to see what you guys create!

Hey Oaks!

Join Black Student Union for our first “meeting” this Friday, September 9th. It isn't going to be a typical meeting, however. We will be by the pool having a meet and greet from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to come. There will be free shirts, soul food and, of course, good music. Come out and meet your new BSU family! Spread the word and we hope to see you all there!
