Alumni Advisory Board Spotlight: Kelly Kloster Hon, BSME '11, MSME '12

Kelly Kloster Hon originally completed the German minor along with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering during her time at Georgia Tech, and has continued to stay involved by serving on the Alumni Advisory Board for the School of Modern Languages. In her career, Kelly has been driving critical business outcomes across consumer and medical products, most recently in global engineering leadership at Becton Dickinson (BD).

When asked about the impact the School of Modern Languages has had on Kelly's career, she stated, "My experience in the School of Modern Languages, particularly through the German LBAT program and International Plan, broadened my curiosity about people, cultures, and the motivations behind their decisions. It strengthened my ability to lead with empathy, navigate diverse perspectives, and adapt across global teams. These are skills I continue to rely on as I collaborate with colleagues across functions and around the world."
