This month's video is “Seeing Whole Systems” by game developer, web designer, and critical theorist Nicky Case. Delivered in 2017, the talk uses dynamic visuals to explore the nonlinear feedback loops among culture, economics, and technology.

Join the Georgia Tech Library for an opening reception Monday, Aug. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. for the Interactive Media Zone's (IMZ) latest exhibit, Biophilia.

Biophilia runs through Sept. 11 at the IMZ, located on Price GIlbert's Grove Level. Blending painting, virtual reality, and digital media, Biophilia invites visitors to experience nature as more than a landscape—encouraging reflection on the living connections between people and the natural world through immersive and interactive media.

Supported by a Georgia Tech Arts 2025–26 Catalyst Grant, the exhibition highlights the innovative, interdisciplinary work made possible through GT Arts' investment in creative research and artistic exploration.

Join the Georgia Tech Library in the Wilby Room on Crosland Tower's Grove Level on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the first Tech's Tactile Thursdays event of the semester, featuring cyanotypes.

Led by the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking, this workshop will explore an early form of cameraless photography known as the cyanotype. Using paper pre-coated with a mixture of chemicals, sunlight, and plants, participants will create their own cyanotypes.

This workshop is open to Georgia Tech students, staff, and faculty. Registration required.
