The Professional Women in Building Council is the premier professional organization that provides strategies and solutions for professional women in the building industry. Through our various publications, awards, scholarships, seminars and programs, we provide women in the building industry the professional advantage necessary to excel and succeed. Our members also receive well deserved recognition for their contribution made to the home building industry and home ownership

✨Spotlight on Board Member Cynthia Venditti✨
Cynthia is a Builder Relations Specialist for Northwest Exterminating Co., Inc. and an integral part of our board as a membership committee member.

Cynthia is one of the first points of contact when new members join ATL PWB; and is a very active member of several other chapters and councils making sure to create and sustain connections with members across the state and even on the National HBA level.

Her smile is contagious and her enthusiasm can get anyone excited! We could not do what we do without her so please help us celebrate her!

Meet PWB member Elizabeth Black, Co-owner and Vice President at FFI Framing and Construction! 🎉

Elizabeth leads the company's business and administrative operations with a passion for building strong partnerships and advancing professionalism within the construction industry.

Growing up around residential construction, she learned early that a home is much more than lumber and nails—it's where life happens. She often reminds her team, "We're not just framing houses—we're helping build homes where families will create a lifetime of memories." That belief continues to inspire her every day.

Elizabeth is passionate about strengthening the construction industry by building relationships through organizations like PWB, encouraging more women to pursue careers in construction (including two of her own daughters who are in the industry) and supporting organizations such as HomeAid and Habitat for Humanity that help provide safe, stable housing for those in need.
She is committed to helping build not only quality homes but also raise awareness about the vital role trade partners play in a stronger, more connected construction community.
When she is not at work, Elizabeth enjoys staying active through fitness, spending time outdoors, and spending quality time with her family.

Thank you to everyone for showing up for our August social last night! Not only did we have so much fun but we raised $650 for our scholarship from your wine pull purchases, an additional $610 from our "At home or Home game" Scholarship Raffle, and gave away 12 amazing door prizes while filling up on delicious bites.

A tremendous thank you to our host Construction Resources for the use of their beautiful space and to all of their vendor reps and CR team that made the night possible.

We can't wait to see everyone October 8th at the Backyard Builder Bash!
