It takes a community to make a difference, and last week was proof of that. ❤️🎒

Thank you to every person who donated, volunteered, encouraged, and supported our Backpack Initiative. Because of your generosity, students at Ison Springs Elementary will begin the school year with the supplies they need and the confidence they deserve.

Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children and their families was a blessing we’ll never forget. Moments like these remind us that when people come together with a heart to serve, real change happens.

From all of us at the Brethren of the Impact Committee, Fulton Lodge No. 216, thank you for helping us invest in our community and in the next generation.

Here’s to continuing the work and making an even greater impact together.

Memorial Day was formally established in 1868 by Brother John Alexander Logan, a Freemason and Commander-in-Chief of the Grand Army of the Republic. Originally known as Decoration Day, it was created to honor the graves of fallen soldiers and has since evolved into a national day of remembrance for all who have given their lives in service to the nation. According to Brother Enrique Rivera, the principles reflected in Memorial Day - honor, sacrifice, fidelity, brotherly love, and remembrance - are the same virtues taught within Freemasonry.
