Meaningful connections, industry insights, and career exploration were all part of the experience as our students participated in the Education Foundation's annual Education Summit and Gold & Silver Plate Awards.

The event brought together students from universities across the country to engage with industry leaders, learn about career opportunities, and gain a deeper understanding of the foodservice ecosystem.

We are grateful to the IFMA The Food Away from Home Association Education Foundation for its continued partnership and investment in our students through scholarships, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Experiences like these help bridge the classroom and industry while preparing the next generation of hospitality leaders for success.

What an incredible way to close out the European journey! Our EHE students wrapped up their trip in Barcelona, visiting Casa Codorníu for a wine tasting experience, exploring the breathtaking Park Güell, and gaining industry insight at the Barcelona Convention Bureau. Students also toured two world-class properties, the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona and Le Méridien Barcelona, and took in the energy of the iconic Boqueria Market. The trip concluded with a farewell dinner at CentOnze Restaurant inside Le Méridien, a perfect final night to reflect on everything experienced across France, Monaco, and Spain. This journey has been unforgettable, and the Day School of Hospitality is beyond grateful for every destination, host, and moment that made it possible. Until the next adventure!

Paris Part 2! Our EHE students visited the Saint James Paris, a stunning 19th century mansion that blended historic charm with modern luxury hospitality. The day continued at Groupe Butard, followed by an unforgettable experience at Les Origines de Paris, a 3D virtual reality tour that traced the city’s history from its Roman origins to medieval Paris. The following day was a well-earned free day to explore the city on their own terms. Paris never disappointed!
