Our students had the opportunity to volunteer at the CMAA Georgia Chapter’s annual Peach Classic Golf Tournament at Cherokee Town and Country Club!
As the chapter’s largest event of the year, the Peach Classic brings together members and valued chapter partners for a day on the course while raising funds for a great cause.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament support CMAA Georgia Chapter scholarships and Autism Speaks of Georgia, an organization dedicated to advocacy, resources, and community support for individuals with autism and their families.
We’re proud of our students for giving their time, gaining valuable event experience, and making a positive impact in the community!

Our hospitality faculty and students recently participated in the Georgia Lodging Industry Forecast, presented by the Georgia Hotel and Lodging Association and Cornell Hotel Society.

The event brought together industry leaders to explore how AI, evolving consumer behavior, and digital platforms are transforming travel discovery and hotel booking, while also exploring Georgia’s lodging performance, demand trends, and key indicators shaping hotel strategies for 2027.

Our students also supported the event as volunteers, contributing to event operations while gaining firsthand insight into the industry trends and professionals shaping the future of lodging.

We’re proud to see our students engage with industry leaders, contribute to professional events, and gain valuable perspectives that complement their hospitality education.
