Summers can be for beach trips, catching up with friends, or researching green algae. 🔬 The past couple of months, Oglethorpe biology students conducted self-guided research with support from Associate Professor of Biology Dr. Lea Alford, gaining confidence as scientists and building a relationship with their faculty mentor.

"This summer has solidified my interest in research, and it’s definitely something I want to incorporate into my future career," shared Elena Vega '27.
