The conferring of degrees is a momentary act. The making of Morehouse Men is a lifelong endeavor.
Commencement 2026 marked the culmination of years of scholarship, leadership, service, and personal growth as the newest graduates of Morehouse College joined a global brotherhood of alumni committed to leading lives of consequence.
The College welcomed families, alumni, faculty, staff, and distinguished guests to celebrate this milestone occasion, highlighted by a commencement address from Chris Paul, whose remarks challenged graduates to lead with purpose, discipline, and impact. The ceremony also included the conferral of an honorary degree upon Dean Lawrence Edward Carter Sr., recognizing his decades of transformative leadership, spiritual guidance, and enduring contributions to the Morehouse community during his final year as Dean of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel.
As tassels turned and cheers echoed across the campus, the Class of 2026 stepped forward carrying with them the values, traditions, and responsibility that come with being Morehouse Men.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. The House is proud.
