🌟 Member Spotlight 🌟Meet Liz Wolfe, President of Executive Women of Goizueta for 2026–2027 and Vice President of Operations for Professional & Advisory Solutions at McKesson.

Liz’s career began in healthcare as a clinical dietitian, where she quickly saw opportunities to improve how care was delivered. After leading successful pilot projects that were implemented across the health system, she recognized that she could make a broader impact by working at the intersection of healthcare and business.

That realization led her to Emory, where earning her MBA and MPH helped her build the business, financial, and strategic skills that would shape her career.

Today, Liz brings that same operator’s mindset to EWG. Having served on the board since 2023, she is helping shape the organization’s next chapter, including a five-year strategic plan and a renewed focus on making connections across the Goizueta community more intentional.

She’s also passionate about opening doors for others, from mentoring Goizueta students to supporting women entrepreneurs and expanding access to opportunities in business education.

We’re excited to announce our 2027 Executive Women of Goizueta Annual Leadership Conference keynote speaker: Carol Tomé, Chief Executive Officer of UPS.

As CEO of UPS since 2020, Carol leads one of the world’s largest package delivery and supply chain companies, with approximately 490,000 UPS employees around the world. She has spent her career navigating complex organizations, driving transformation, and building businesses for long-term growth.

Before joining UPS, Carol served as Chief Financial Officer of The Home Depot for nearly two decades, helping lead the company through significant periods of change and growth.

🎉 Meet Goizueta’s New Dean, Saby Mitra!

As John H. Harland Dean of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, Saby Mitra is beginning his tenure with a clear focus: listen, connect, collaborate, and build on Goizueta’s incredible momentum.

In a recent conversation with “Emory Business,” Dean Mitra shared his vision for the year ahead. including deeper engagement with alumni, stronger connections across the Goizueta community, and closer partnerships with Atlanta’s business community.

“I see my role as working to make [our community] more successful in what they do.”

We’re excited to welcome Dean Mitra to the Goizueta community and look forward to the opportunities ahead.

And we especially enjoyed getting to know him beyond the dean’s office—from his love of history, cooking, biking the Silver Comet Trail, and British murder mysteries to his childhood fear of public speaking. 👀

Every August, we celebrate Women's Equality Day. It is a chance to recognize the women who challenged expectations, broke barriers, and opened doors for those who followed.

But it's also an opportunity to ask a harder question: If women have proven they can lead, why are they still underrepresented at the very top?

In 2026, women led roughly 11% of Fortune 500 companies: a record high, but still a striking reminder of how much room there is to grow.
