On March 5th, 1959, 69 African American boys, were padlocked in their dormitory for the night at the Negro Boys Industrial School in Wrightsville. Around 4 a.m., a fire mysteriously ignited, forcing the boys to fight and claw their way out of the burning building.

The old, run-down, & low-funded facility, just 15 minutes south of Little Rock, housed 69 teens from ages 13-17. Most were either homeless or incarcerated for petty crimes such as doing pranks. 48 boys managed to escape the fire.

The doors were locked from the outside and fire mysteriously ignited on a cold, wet morning, following earlier thunderstorms in the same area of rural Pulaski County.

A nearly 2,000-year-old leather bikini bottom, believed to have been worn by Roman gymnasts or acrobatic dancers. It was discovered during excavations at Queen Victoria Street in London in 1953. Currently, it is part of the Museum of London’s collection.

This leather garment, often referred to as Roman "bikini briefs," was discovered in a backfilled Roman well in London. While the exact purpose of these garments remains debated, depictions of female acrobats wearing similar briefs suggest they might have been used in athletic performances. A Roman statuette from France supports this interpretation, showing a female acrobat in a similar outfit.

Gibraltar 1 - the first adult Neanderthal skull ever discovered. The skull was found in 1848 in a quarry in Gibraltar. Its significance wasn't recognized at first. But eight years later amateur naturalist Johann Fuhlrott identified a similar skull and additional remains in the Neander Valley in Germany. In 1864, it was named as a new species of human, Homo neanderthalensis.
