Cicely Jackson is a junior in the nursing school. She is from the heart of GA, Macon, GA. To her, being Miss Black and Gold represents a profound commitment to uplifting the Black community. Cicely aims  to address systemic stress within institutions and empower the young black community with mental health resources in order to positively impact future generations.

This past weekend, brothers of the Mu Alpha Chapter attended the Eminence Awards Ceremony hosted by Emory’s Offices of Residence and Sorority & Fraternity life. Mu Alpha had an excellent showing bringing home awards in the following areas:

✅ Excellence in Brotherhood
✅ Excellence in Leadership
✅ Excellence in Risk Management

As well as individual awards

✅ Chapter President of the Year - Bro. Phillips
✅ New Member/Neophyte of the Year - Bro. Point-Du-Jour
