Georgia State University College of Law in downtown Atlanta has provided affordable and flexible legal education to full- and part-time students since 1982. The college enrolls nearly 700 students annually and boasts three experiential learning clinics, including the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, the Investor Advocacy Clinic and the Health Law Partnership (HeLP) Clinic, which is part of the nation’s No. 7 health law program.

💼 Career Day at Georgia State Law was all about making connections.

Approximately 171 students and 38 employers attended the event. Students met with employers and Georgia State Law alums to gain insight into their legal practices and built meaningful professional connections. ⚖️🤝

The event was attended by public sector and law firm employers, including Career Development sponsors Troutman Pepper Locke, King & Spalding, Jones Day, Arnall Golden Gregory, and Greenberg Traurig LLP.

Thank you to all of the employers, alumni, and organizations who spent the evening connecting with our students! 👏

Two Georgia State Law graduates have been selected to serve in the Supreme Court of Georgia’s 2026–27 class of term law clerks.

Abby Attaway (J.D. ’24), will clerk for Presiding Justice Sarah Hawkins Warren. Humayra Bramblett (J.D. ’26), will clerk for Justice Benjamin A. Land.

Attaway participated in Georgia State Law’s HeLP Legal Services Clinic and served as an associate articles editor for the Georgia State Law Review. Bramblett was editor-in-chief of the Georgia State Law Review and president of the GSU chapter of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
