We will truly miss Dr. Wood. He shaped many music educators from undergraduate through doctoral levels. May he rest in peace.

The Music Department is deeply saddened at the passing of Dr. Matt Wood, Associate Professor of Trombone. Dr. Wood served the department for 19 years; he was an incredible musician, a wonderful colleague, and a good friend. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

It’s not fall if we don’t have a Scotland’s Burning video with our CTMU 1010 class at the center. We’re already impressed with these future music educators!
