More than 170 Auburn students recently participated in the inaugural Harbert Sales Competition, sponsored by Penske Truck Leasing and the Harbert College of Business Department of Marketing.

Students stepped into the role of Penske sales consultants and developed recommendations to demonstrate the value of Penske’s truck leasing solutions. Of the 40 teams that entered, nine advanced to the final round to present their recommendations to a panel of Penske executives and marketing faculty.

Congratulations to Harbert Elite: Keston Edwards, Armando Lopez, Alex Gehrig and Tyler Pruitt on taking home first place! We also congratulate the additional winning teams, prize recipients and all students who took part in this hands-on learning experience.

Thank you to Penske and our Department of Marketing for helping students translate classroom learning into practical skills that prepare them for professional success.
