Augusta University World Languages World Languages at AU. We offer courses Arabic, French, German, Mandarin Chinese, & Spanish. Like/follow us!

World Languages (WOLA) is located in the Department of English & World Languages (EWL) in the Pamplin College at Augusta University. We offer majors in French, Spanish, French Ed., and Spanish Ed., and minors in French, German, and Spanish. We also offer introductory/intermediate courses in Arabic and Chinese. Students in WL often pursue the Linguistics and TESOL Certificates which are also housed in EWL.

Alpha Mu Gamma in collaboration with MAS, the AU Chinese Club, and Le Cercle Français will host a Short Film night on Monday September 14th from 5:30pm to 7pm in Allgood Hall N233.

Short films will be shown in Spanish, French and Chinese with English subtitles.

This event is open to the public. Pizza and refreshments will be served.

The CWE hosts Speaking Circles in partnership with the World Languages Hub. The English Speaking Circle is a safe, fun place for English language learners to practice their English skills. Come any week to learn common English phrases and practice in a group setting. This semester, we will offer two Speaking Circles:

World Languages Hub Speaking Circle (Summerville Campus, Allgood Hall N204), Tuesdays from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM (Starting September 1st)
CWE Greenblatt Library Speaking Circle (Health Sciences Campus, Greenblatt Library, Rm. 1203), Mondays from 5:15 PM-6:15 PM (Starting August 24th)
