Augusta University Libraries

Augusta University Libraries There are two Augusta University libraries, Reese Library on the Summerville campus and Greenblatt Library on the Health Sciences campus. The Augusta University Libraries provide books, ebooks, government publications, journals, audiovisuals, databases, historical collections, and more, in support of student and faculty research.
(2)

The Libraries provide research assistance in person and electronically and also provide tours and instruction classes for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Students can request appointments with librarians, including specialized medical reference librarians, for more in-depth research needs. Thousands of research journals are available electronically – in person and remotely - through research databases held in GALILEO and elsewhere, with many available full text.

Mission: The Libraries lead the enterprise in providing comprehensive information resources and services in support of the teaching, discovery, and clinical care mission of our student‐centered research university and academic medical center.

Josette Kubicki, Reference and Instruction Librarian, promised she would color her hair red if she raised $1,000 for the American Heart Association- CSRA Libraries Heart Walk Team. She and the team finished fundraising at the end of June, raising $1,958! However, she held back dying her hair till the Fall semester – that way, she could show off her new locks around campus!
Although fundraising for the 2020 CSRA Heart Walk is over, you can donate to American Heart Association anytime. Currently, they may double your donation! Check out their FB page.

Remember our #quarantinecompanions contest?? We published our last contender the week before last. We have 2 winners! Sandra Bandy & Melissa Johnson, librarians at Greenblatt and Reese, respectively, tied for the "Best Companion or Few" title. But we all know it's really their companions - Sandra's Molly, and Melissa's Binx and Sylvester - who won 😉

Check out the winning entries, and one of our winners, Sandra, with Molly. Miss out on seeing any of the contestants? See them all at bit.ly/vffpettherapy

And thanks to everyone who voted (by liking) our furry quarantine companions! We hope you had as much fun as we did!
