The Hull College of Business Alumni Board recently volunteered at Project Life. Project Life serves approximately 100 families each day with free food and clothing.

Alumni organized and prepared clothing in the free retail store, sorted and processed incoming donations, welcomed guests as they arrived, helped carry clothing bags to vehicles and helped with any other tasks needed.

The final staff member in our who's who at Hull College is Alexis Castillo, program manager (assessment and accreditation).

Her job entails overseeing curriculum development, program assessment, and daily operations for all our academic programs. She works closely with academic leadership to ensure programs align with institutional goals, accreditation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. She also leads curriculum mapping, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic planning and academic effectiveness.

During class on Wednesday, Aug. 26, students in MGMT 6580 – Strategic Management taught by Dinesh Hasija, PhD, heard from Benjamin Prijatel, president and CEO of Shepeard Community Blood Center.

The class is partnering with Shepeard Community Blood Center this semester on a strategic consulting project focused on AI and digital transformation. The student teams will look at how emerging technologies can help address real organizational challenges.
