We’re celebrating a big win for Augusta University’s School of Computer and Cyber Sciences! 🎉
During VandyHacks at Vanderbilt University, two AU student teams, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) team and the Girls Who Code College Loop, made their debut and earned major awards, competing alongside schools like Purdue University and Rice University.
Their innovation, teamwork, and drive stood out on a national stage, showing exactly what AU students are capable of.
We couldn’t be more proud of how they represented the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences and helped push our growing tech culture forward.
“It felt great representing AU and showing that we have talented students who can compete with universities like the University of Alabama,” says George Dorton.
