Happy Friday, Jags! Before you head out for the Labor Day break, make note of an important schedule change!📅

With Labor Day fast approaching, please note an important change to the class schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Because the fall 2026 semester begins and ends on a Tuesday, the academic calendar includes an extra Tuesday and fewer Mondays. To ensure all classes meet the required instructional time, the schedule has been adjusted.

On Sept. 8:
- Monday, Monday/Wednesday, and Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes will meet.
- Tuesday and Tuesday/Thursday classes will not meet.

Please plan accordingly and check your course schedule and D2L for any additional information from your instructors.

Normal class schedule will resume Wednesday, Sept. 9. This schedule does not apply to the MD and DMD courses, which follow a different academic calendar.

It is with sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Bonnie Dadig, a beloved educator, mentor, and visionary leader whose impact on our Physician Assistant Program and the PA profession will be felt for generations to come.

For more than 32 years, Dr. Dadig dedicated her life to preparing compassionate, skilled health care professionals, inspiring countless students and colleagues through her unwavering commitment to excellence. Her remarkable legacy of service, leadership, and education will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Dadig's family, friends, former students, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.💙

Our students in were honored to join cancer survivors, their families, and Wellstar clinicians in celebrating strength, resilience, and hope on Cancer Survivors Day. 💜

Experiences like these reinforce the impact of the life-changing, life-saving education our students receive as they prepare to care for patients with skill, compassion, and empathy. We are grateful to Wellstar for hosting this meaningful celebration and proud to stand alongside survivors as we honor every journey and every victory.
