Wells College Women's Basketball Keep up with the Wells Women's Basketball team throughout the season and get to know the team!

Wells College revived the women's basketball program in November of 2009, under the direction of Head Coach Mike O'Brien. The team's very first modern-era game was in 2010, after the previous team was removed as an intercollegiate offering in the early 1980's. Entering the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) in the 2009-10 season, the team's first victory was at Wells on Nov. 23, 2010, a thri

lling come from behind victory against the Mustangs of Morrisville State College. From 2010-11 to 2011-12, the team doubled their win total (four to eight) while the team in 2012-13 notched 13 victories and qualified for the NEAC postseason for the first time in team history. On Feb. 19, 2013, the Express knocked off the higher-seeded Wildcats of SUNY Institute of Technology for the first postseason victory in team history.
