Is there anything more epic than Johannes?

The String Quartet, hesitantly finished at age 40, qualifies as one of Brahms' early completed chamber works and his first published string quartet. Nearly 20 years later on the precipice of retirement, clarinetist Richard Mühlfeld inspired the Trio and subsequent clarinet sonatas, some of the final completed works published in Brahms' lifetime.

ACC Faculty present Brahms' String Quartet No. 1 in C minor and Clarinet Trio in A minor on October 23rd. You can't miss this chance to hear not one but two full works spanning Brahms' professional career.
