Can’t say enough about our 2026 Jenkins Medal Sports Legend, Archie Manning, patriarch of the First Family of Football and quintessential Southern Gentleman. He shared great stories about his time at Ole Miss and with the New Orleans Saints. Insight on Peyton, Eli and Arch, too. A hearty thanks to our Quarterback Event Sponsor Mary and Baker Montgomery. Baker’s brother, Bill, was the star quarterback for Arkansas in the 1970 Sugar Bowl. The #13 Ole Miss Rebels upset the #3 Arkansas Razorbacks 27–22 but the QBs for that game became lifelong friends. Thank you to The Headliners Foundation and the Verne Lundquist Sports Media Institute (h/t Ed Clements) for being a End Zone Table Sponsor at the 2026 awards dinner. Best wishes to them on 10/7: An Evening with Verne Lundquist and Terry Bradshaw.
