UT Division of Student Affairs The Division of Student Affairs is the hub of student life and well-being at The University of Texas at Austin.

The Division of Student Affairs supports Longhorns with programs, services and facilities that enhance well-being, connection and confidence for success during college and beyond. The team inspires all students — undergraduate, graduate and professional — to live the Longhorn life through its uniquely-designed programs, spaces and resources. They serve every student through physical health, mental

health and well-being services; new student and family orientations; recreational sports; two university unions; and the University’s official parent association. The Division supports 1,100+ student organizations; student governance organizations; student outreach, legal, and disability and access services. The team also provides student employment, leadership, first generation and volunteer programs.

Flip it over to find the UHS and CMHC main phone numbers, the CMHC 24/7 Crisis Line and other helpful campus resources.

The wait is over! 🤘 The Fall 2027 freshman admission application is officially OPEN with an Early Action Deadline of Oct. 15 and a Regular Deadline of Dec. 1.

As we wrap up our Summer Spotlight Series, we’re highlighting a team dedicated specifically to supporting Longhorn parents and families. Since 1948, Texas Parents has helped families stay connected to and informed about the University.

Texas Parents assists parents and families as they navigate University resources to support their student. Full-time staff serve as a direct connection to campus when families aren’t sure where to find an answer. The team maintains the Texas Parents and Families Portal, featuring campus news, personalized newsletters and important announcements in one easy dashboard.

They also host Family Orientation and the campus-wide Family Weekend celebration. The Texas Parents Association, the University’s official association for parents and families, is also housed here.
