Congratulations are in order — Longtime EMSP faculty member, Ginger Locke, has been selected at the NAEMT Educator of the Year! This comes as no surprise to our current/former students or other faculty members whose lives she touches on a daily basis. Ginger frequently goes above and beyond the expected norms in education and mentorship. Her quiet leadership style invites conversations over lectures, and encourages participation by all students - ensuring that learning is not limited to a single PowerPoint, but triggers students to engage in research, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the totality of what human care actually looks like.

We are fortunate to have Ginger in our EMS department and are proud of her for this incredible honor.
