“As someone coming to UT from out of state, I was honestly really worried about finding a community here. The second I walked into the Loft, I knew I’d already found it — Sig Delt has already given me so many connections in only the first month i’ve been here, and the kindness and genuine passion the girls all have in the Tau chapter really set it apart from all other groups I’d looked at. I didn’t originally think I would join a sorority in college, but I’m SO glad I did: From all our fun events to the close relationship SDT has with Texas Hillel and the vast Alumni network, Joining Sigma Delta Tau has definitely been the best choice i’ve made for myself since getting on the 40 acres. I’m so grateful for all of my amazing siSDTers and CANT WAIT for all the memories to come!!!”

"I always wanted to join a sorority, but I was nervous about the rush process because I didn't grow up in a Panhellenic household and didn't know much about it.
From my first experience with SDT, everything felt so natural and genuine that I didn't even feel like I was being recruited. I felt like I had known these girls already After talking for hours at the boot charm event, I found a comfort I wasn't expecting to find so quickly. I'm so excited to grow bonds with these amazing girls and give back to the community alongside people I genuinely enjoy being around."

“I came to SDT knowing a little bit about it and the community with my older sister being a member and immediately felt such a welcoming presence from all the girls and knew this was something I would enjoy being apart of. I never originally planned on joining a sorority and didn’t think it was something I was cut out for but with all the kindness and love from everyone I felt that I belonged and this was a community I could build special friendships in!”
