Check out some of the green features that helped EGN earn a LEED Silver certification for Building 1000 in 2014, followed by another LEED Silver certification in 2020 for Building 2000.

Sustainable Riverbats this is your friendly reminder to apply for the Spring 2026 Eco Conference
Grant 🏅🌎

ACC is granting 5 students (credit-course), 2 faculty (full-time/adjunct), and 2 staff (full-time) to
be part of the 2026 Texas Regional Alliance for Campus Sustainability (TRACS) Summit.

Keep in mind:
➡️Apply by February 2 at 11:59 pm
👉 Grant recipients will be notified of acceptance by February 10th
👉 The winner’s conference registration fee, travel, and meals will be provided by ACC
📅 The event is March 1-3, 2026
📍 St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX

Last Friday, students and staff joined our office to assemble the first raised beds for ACC’s new Learning Gardens coming this Spring.

You're invited: Wellness Walking Path Ribbon Cutting Events 🎀✂️

Check out the newly updated paths, designed to help you exercise, unwind, and learn more about sustainability on campus.

Join us at one of the upcoming events to learn more about wellness, wayfinding, sustainability, and more. There will be games, music, and a lap around the new trails after the official ribbon cutting. All are welcome to join!

Have you ever wanted to see where our waste goes after you put it in a bin on campus or at home? Join us for a Green Team tour of the Texas Disposal Systems facilities next week! ♻️

ACC students and employees are invited to join us on Tuesday, November 19th from 1:00-3:00 for a guided tour around the landfill and recycling facilities (we may even get to see the wildlife safari 🦒)!
