APU is launching a new Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies this fall, offering an integrated approach that comprehensively prepares students for seminary, vocational ministry, and wide range of professional pathways. With a streamlined curriculum, this versatile program empowers students to easily double major and tailor their education to their unique calling.

"The new program encourages students to think broadly and creatively about Christian ministry beyond traditional forms," said Eunny Lee, PhD, associate dean of the School of Theology. "Students will be able to take the robust theological education in this program and adapt it for various forms of leadership and service, in whichever career path they choose."

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT FOR STUDENTS! Give today at https://apu.edu/give

A generous group of donors has issued a challenge: From now until June 30, they will match every single donation to the University Fund, dollar-for-dollar, up to $150,000!

Because of this 1:1 match, your support is doubled for students heading into the upcoming academic year. A $25 gift becomes $50. A $100 gift becomes $200.

Our students are working hard to learn, grow, and impact the world for the cause of Christ—let’s show them their community stands behind them, twice as strong.

But the match only lasts until June 30! Go to apu.edu/give to double your impact today!

Last week, APU's Institute for Faith, Leadership, and Service (IFLS) held its first two-day Work & Worship Conference, a regional subgrant gathering that brought together 56 Christian pastors, ministry, and marketplace leaders representing 17 churches across California, Washington, Arizona, and Idaho.

These churches engaged in specialized ministry projects that explore the intersection of faith and the workplace within their communities. The event fostered shared learning and connection through workshops, worship, and a teaching on how we can reconnect our daily labor as part of our priestly mission.

Thank you to APU’s dedicated staff who participated in this event including Keith Hall, EdD, William Whitney, PhD., and Andrew Harootian, MDiv.

APU is excited to announce a new Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) program launching in Spring 2027, specifically tailored to fit the busy schedules of full-time working professionals. Advance your career and increase your earning potential in just one year with this 30-unit program that blends the convenience of online classes with community-building in-person residencies.

“It’s a fast-paced program, and our curriculum goes deep to make sure students have the skills needed to make a difference in their specific areas of influence,” said Catherine Hahs Brinkley, EdD, associate dean of the School of Education. “We’re covering relevant topics in education by looking at artificial intelligence (AI), inclusive education, effective leadership, and how to conduct research through the traditional MA thesis.”
