The School of Social Sciences & Education offers programs that prepares tomorrow’s skilled professionals in counseling, educational leadership, teacher education, special education, and social work. We provide pathways to rewarding careers in anthropology, criminal justice, law, psychology-related fields, national/state/local politics, international relations, non-profit and government agencies, c

ommunity colleges and universities, and allied health and medical professions. We are committed to understanding how people grow and thrive, encouraging healthy and productive lifestyles, and enhancing the quality of life for all people. We prepare future leaders, professionals in high demand, and community advocates. In the School of Social Sciences and Education, our students receive excellent classroom instruction, faculty-guided research experiences, and hands-on learning opportunities that prepare them for successful careers and for lifelong learning to meet the needs and challenges of a changing society.
