🎉 What an AMAZING turnout for our Annual Disability Awareness Day! 💙♿️

A huge THANK YOU to all our BC Renegades for coming out and supporting this special event! To all our incredible vendors, both on campus and from our community, and our amazing BC departments that lent a helping hand — THANK YOU! 🙌🏼💙 And of course, a special shoutout to our AMAZING DSPS crew! We couldn’t have done it without all of you! 🫶🏼

A special shoutout to our Mayor for joining us and presenting us with a Certificate of Recognition for Disability Awareness Day! 🏆 What an honor!

We’re sad to see it come to an end, but SO grateful for the incredible turnout, support, and community that made this day so special! ❤️

It’s that time of year again! We’re excited to announce our Annual Disability Awareness Day happening October 7th from 9:00 AM–1:30 PM at the Panorama Campus BC Crossroads area!

Come join us for an awesome day filled with:

🤝 Community & on-campus resources
🌮 Food trucks

Everyone is welcome! Come learn, connect, have some fun, and celebrate disability awareness with us! 💙

JOIN US — DSPS along with BC Transfer Pathway, in collaboration with CSUB, will be hosting a campus tour for DSPS students planning to transfer! ✨🎓

An email has been sent out! Please RSVP by Friday, May 29, 2026 by clicking the link in the email or scanning the QR code.

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Location: CSUB Roundabout on Don Hart Drive West (at the flagpole near the bus stop)

🚗 Transportation is not provided — students must arrange their own transportation.

Awesome night at the 2026 Student Leadership and Involvement Awards last week! 🎉

Some of our incredible staff members — Victoria Cortez, Monique Pohl, and Bernadette Madrid — along with our amazing student worker, Tanya Aguilar, were nominated for awards, and we couldn’t be more proud! Your hard work, dedication, and heart for serving students do not go unnoticed. 👏

Our DISC Club, led by our amazing advisor and counselor Bernadette Madrid, was also nominated along with some of the club members! Congratulations on the nominations — we are so proud of all of you and the positive impact you continue to make!

A HUGE shoutout to Tanya Aguilar, our amazing DSPS student worker, for winning Student Worker of the Year!! 🏆 Your commitment, positivity, and dedication make such a difference every single day. We are beyond proud of you! ✨
